They just spill out, and you have to deal with the consequences when your loved ones, friends, family, and maybe even total strangers know something you'd prefer to keep hidden away. Hey, maybe bringing these skeletons out of the closet is for the best!

So how many of you are familiar with the Bureau of Communication? From forgiveness promissory notes to gently cushioning notifications of less than pleasant times, they have a myriad of ways to help notify others what's on one's mind.

Maybe some books of the various forms have ended up scattered around the Castle, who knows. You probably know how this sort of thing works already but just in case:

1)Make a top-level with your character's name and name of source medium in the subject

2)Other people reply with in character BoC documents concerning that character

3) ???

4) Profit?

@ the other Charas and the Frisks: considering how broadly Frisk and Chara's sprites can be interpreted in fandom, I'm curious about how you picture your Chara or Frisk (or Asriel, for that matter.)

So! If you feel like it, could you describe your kiddo for me? Have some prompting questions if you need a place to start:

Are they tall? Short? Skinny? Chubby? Barely out of the first grade or an Emo Tween™?
Any idea about their general body language and stuff? Are they slouchy or straight-spined? Clumsy or graceful?
What's their complexion like? Dark skinned, light skinned, somewhere between? Do they have freckles? Rosy cheeks? Acne?
What color is their hair? Is it straight or curly? Any particular style?
How about their eye color? Red as their SOUL or is the color more ordinary? Any particular shape to their eyes?
What's their wardrobe like? Are they wearing a t-shirt, sweater, dress shirt? Pants, shorts, a skirt? How about their locket, what's it look like?

This post brought to you by my own curiosity but also because I feel like drawing some varying Chara and Frisk designs (and/or Asriel) so that would hopefully be a thing in between working on RP posts.

This amuses me, so I thought it might amuse all of you. Tauriel is a bit confused about some people's names here...so here's what she thinks all of you are called.

Asriel: The biggest mishap, oh boy. I checked this one with my Sindarin teacher to be sure, but...she misheard his name as Athriel, which translates as "garlanded maiden of the light of the sun." I'm so sorry. (ast + rî + iel = light/heat of the sun + garland + daughter [of]/female ending for names)

Toriel: Pretty sure she thinks Toriel's name means "hiding daughter/daughter of one who hides." Which, as Tracy pointed out, is pretty appropriate for someone hiding out in the ruins! (tor- + iel = to hide + daughter [of]/female ending for names)

Uriel: Tauriel heard this name as Úriel, which would more or less mean "daughter of flame." Also pretty appropriate, given how fiery Uriel can be! (ûr + iel = fire/heat + daughter [of]/female ending for names)

S-4: I've recently realised that Tauriel is much more likely to have heard "S-4" as "Esfor." She does know her ~~Westron~~ English letters and numbers, but it's not where her mind goes first. I don't think it means anything in Sindarin, but you never know.

S2: Sans-Serif's nickname! This one, she thinks of as being "Estu," which I believe has a more Quenya feel to it than Sindarin. I'm pretty sure she's not heard a word of Quenya in her life, though, so she just thinks it's another unusual name.

That's all I've got for now, but if I can work out a Sindarin translation for anyone else's names, I'll be sure to mention it!
