Chara, on the other hand, is probably going to be cautiously intrigued if they get wind of Batter's whole "was ordered by a mysterious force to murder goldang everyone" thing because that's suspiciously similar to something they went through recently!

yay thank you and hello! i've never played the Earthbound/Mother series (you may shun me now) but i did play as Lucas a lot in Smash Bros if that counts ...? at the very least they can bond over bats and Lucas can just like, run away when Batter starts taking a swing at him because attacking children is just one of those interesting things he does.

I'm so glad people are still talking about OFF, it's such a great game, omg.

I play a Soft!Chara and an adorable goat child who raged against the world and killed everyone several past timelines and Feels Bad about it (aka Asriel), so their interaction with the Batter should bring plenty of conflict and popcorn. I'm looking forward to playing with you!
